A Health Coaching group focused on supporting people living with chronic stress, anxiety or depression, or that desire to improve their mental health. Classes for this Group will occur on Tuesdays at 1pm on the following dates: 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th June

About the event
A Health Coaching group focused on supporting people living with chronic stress, anxiety or depression, or that desire to improve their mental health. What are the four feel-good hormones? Dopamine, serotonin, endorphins, and oxytocin. You can boost levels of these hormones with some simple lifestyle changes, like diet, exercise, and meditation, and possibly improve your mood in the process.
Health and wellbeing coaches support people to increase their ability to self-manage, motivation levels and commitment to change their lifestyle.
Health Coaching focus on improving both physical and mental health related outcomes by working with people to set healthier goals and change their behaviors.
By choosing to participate of this group, you will be commiting with the 4 following classes:
Week 1 (6th june from 1pm to 2pm) - Movement
Exercise-induced changes can prevent or mental health, affecting directly the stimulation of our happiness hormones. But let's face it, we all struggle when trying to follow a daily exercising routine. Let's discuss strategies and build a plan together so we can make movement part of our day to day lives.
Speak with your GP in advance in case you have a serious condition or take medication.
Week 2 (13th June from 1pm to 2pm) - Nutrition
Changing dietary habits isn't easy. Where to start and how to succeed? There are so many information out there but little practical steps to help you making the correct decisions. Simple steps at time, we can incorporate new dietary habits and crowd out the unhealthy ones.
Week 3 (20th June from 1pm to 2pm) - Sleep Management
Did you know that the quality of your sleep starts in the morning? Stress and modern lifestyle have changed our sleeping habits and created so many sleepless nights and insomnia issues. Come and learn easy ways to improve your sleep.
Week 4 (27th April from 1pm to 2pm) - Mindfulness
Holistic health includes how you see and treat yourself. Our previous experiences and our thoughts will automatically impact how we see others. Learning how to regulate our emotions, staying present and bringing a new balance to our lives can be the key to move your health journey into a wellbeing state.
